The Manatee Aging Network is a voluntary
coalition of persons representing both profit- and not-for-profit health, human
and social services organizations and other persons concerned with aging issues.
Its purpose is to identify services in the Manatee County area and share that
information; to provide information and referral; to analyze unmet needs and advocate
for solutions; and to increase public awareness of elderly services in this area.

For
over a decade, the Annual Manatee Aging Network (MAN) Senior Services Directory
has been a primary resource of information on goods and services for the area's
older adults, their families and professionals who assist them.
It's
designed to help readers find things they need from organizations-profit- and
non-profit-making-with an interest in serving the elderly.
As
always, this year's edition is free, thanks to the generous support of our advertisers.
You can help keep it coming every year by patronizing our advertisers and letting
them know you learned about them here.
The
profit-making organizations listed paid a modest fee to be included, one indication
of their dedication to serving you. These fees, and the fees for advertising,
make it possible to prepare and distribute to you without charge what we hope
you will find to be a useful publication.
We've attempted
to verify the information presented and believe it is accurate. If you know of
corrections or additions that may be needed, or have suggestions for the next
edition, please contact us.
